第三课： 入住酒店
在第三课里，你将学习怎么样在酒店前台迎接客人和怎么样说房间号码。你需要训练诸如“I'II’，，和“we'II”等缩略语和有关方位的介词。你也会学习并训练礼貌用词或是说是和不是。这一部分包含怎么样为客人办理入住手续。先请你听酒店前台接待员利奥与刚抵达的客人的对话。
Leo: Hi, l'm Leo.

Mona: Hi, l'm Mona White.
同时入住的还有蒙纳怀特的爸爸，杰克伟博
Jack: Hi.l'm Jack Webber.
他们两个人刚刚从墨尔本抵达酒店。在大家继续课程之前，我有一点要提醒你注意，那就是依据西方的文化风俗，在与客人面对面交
流的时候你必须要直视他们的双眼并面带微笑，不然的话西方文化背景的客人就会误以为你是不尊重他。 目前大家就开始学习，请注意听对话的内容及汉语翻译。
Leo: Good afternoon.
利奥： 下午好。
Leo: Can I help you?
利奥： 有哪些可以为你效劳的吗?
Mona: Yes, we have a reservation for three nights.
蒙纳： 谢谢，我预定了三天的住房。

“Can I help you?”是大家在商店中招呼客户，在办公室接待客人或在酒店中问候住客时常见的一句话。请跟着我重复：Can I helpyou?……Can工help you?…..Good morning, Can工helpyou?……. Good afternoon, can工help you?下面请听利奥是怎么样向客人讲解房间预定状况的
利奥： 我为你预定了402和403房间。
Leo: l've reserved rooms 402 and 403 for you.
英语中房间号码的说法一般是先说楼层，然后是房间的号码。比如三楼十一号房间就是Room three|eleven。大家不可以说Room threehundred and eleven。请注意听对话并跟着重复。

请注意Not really这个说法。有的时候假如大家在回答问题时只不过简单地说YES或NO听起来就会有的过于生硬。而Not really在这样的情况下可以婉转地表达NO的意思。请你跟着一块训练。

下面让大家学习缩略语的使用方法。你刚刚听到利奥说“I'II see what I can do”，让我想想方法。 杰克说”I'd like a view”，我想住有风景的房间， 这类都是英语中的缩略语，这种现象在英语中非常容易见到。缩略语是将一些字的发音并在一块的一种发音办法。在口语中用缩略话的可以使对话听起来不那样生硬或正式。缩略语的构收获是将第二个字的最后一个音节与第一个字互相并读在一块。比如：
1 would可以拼读成I'd， I have可以拼读成I've，等等。大家将在这一课中不断地学习缩略语的使用方法。目前先让大家一块儿学习will这个词的缩略语使用方法。这个单词在与I我用在起的时候，1 will就能读成I'II,与you你用在一块的时候就能读成You'II。请听录音并一块跟着说。
